About

Hi. I'm Monica, and I didn't know my Bible very well.

I was raised Catholic, attended Catholic high school, Catholic college, and became a missionary after graduation. Sheesh — you’d expect me to be an expert at this point, right?

Sadly, no.

I could retell classic Bible stories like Noah’s Ark, but I didn’t know how they all connected to one another.

In 2022, I became a theology teacher. Shooooot. Students were looking to ME to teach them the Bible??  It was time to learn! I started listening to podcasts, reading books, and building a curriculum for my students. On the way, I fell more and more in love with Jesus and the long journey through Salvation History that he made for you and me. I felt my prayer life deepen as I got familiar with the Bible.

I want this for you too.

I made these courses to make what I’ve learned easy & accessible for you. The Bible doesn’t have to be intimidating and hard to navigate. If my middle schoolers can get it, so can you! I want to take you through it, boost your Bible literacy, and lay a strong foundation for a deep prayer life of intimacy for you and the Lord. I’m not perfect & I’m still learning. It’s a lifelong journey to learn Scripture, but I’d love to help you lay a strong foundation!

Are you even qualified to teach the bible?

Fair question! I’m not a PhD or a biblical scholar. I can’t read Greek or Hebrew. But I am a Catholic who has spent years joyfully learning, praying, and teaching Scripture. I earned my bachelor’s in theology from Benedictine College, taught theology for two years in the Diocese of Columbus, and spent five years as a full-time missionary walking with high schoolers (NET and Damascus). I’ve read stacks of books, listened to countless podcasts, and logged way too many hours nerding out about the Bible. Most importantly, everything I teach is fully Catholic and always rooted in the Magisterium. My goal isn’t to give you a seminary lecture—it’s to make Scripture accessible, alive, and fun, while staying 100% faithful to the Church.

You pray? you speak to the bridegroom.
You read the bible?
he speaks to you.
