The Jane and Francis Letters
mail club: all you need to know!
What is it?
This is a subscription mail club that is a 9-letter series. Each month, you receive a snail-mail letter in your mailbox that's themed to one of Francis de Sales' major writing themes. The letters will include a variety of fun! Each letter is carefully written with attention to the true writings & teachings of St. Francis de Sales and are in accurate representation (as much as possible) of his teachings in the Catholic Church.
Why give it a try?
Mostly, for FUN FUN FUN! The mail club is meant to inspire & encourage you in your daily walk with the Lord, and to connect you to this Saint, the Doctor of Love, Francis de Sales! (Jane de Chantal, his partner in crime, is highlighted here but she almost acts as co-recipient alongside you!) In real life, Francis and Jane exchanged many letters of spiritual direction. This is a creative spin on that! If you ever feel discouraged by the daily slog, small in your current season, dry in prayer, or a bit alone in your perfectionistic or hard-hearted tendencies, you need to get to know Francis! You will LOVE what he has to say! He especially loves the ordinary life.
What's included?
Each month is a little different, but think: ★ Modern tidbits I think Francis would have liked, from songs to resources, poems to recipes, etc! ★ Heartfelt letter based on a teaching of Francis de Sales, written in easy-to-read and encouraging language "from Francis"! ★ Quote cards from Francis with references ★ Surprise goodie matching the month's theme (think puzzles, bingo cards, planner sheets, stickers, bookmarks, postcards, journal prompts, artwork etc.) (No AI, by the way!)
How does it work?
Each month, mail is sent out on the 15th from January - August 2027 for this 9-month subscription. You pay once ($25) and receive your mail for 9 months! See the FAQ's below for more details!
F.A.Q.
How does it work?
Though this is a 9 month “subscription”, you pay all at once. It’s $25 for the 9 months.
You purchase this through the link to my Etsy shop. You’ll input your mailing information & submit the payment, and then you’ll receive a digital download receipt. The real mail will start coming in January of course, and come monthly through August.
You must sign up by January 10, 2027 to receive mail that goes out on January 15.
Did you miss that deadline? No worries! The Last Minute Deadline is January 31, 2027 and comes with a the $5 late fee. You’ll still receive January’s mail, but it will come late (no later than being sent February 15, 2027).
Since payment is received in one sum ($25) for all 9 months, there is no cancel or refund option.

If you move addresses, please reach out to me at thecatholicbibleclasswithmon@gmail.com so I can update your address before the 15th of that month. (We will take this on a case by case basis!)
Yes! What a great gift! Simply put their name and address in the recipient information when purchasing. You’ll receive a little printable “gift explanation” letter when you purchase, if you’d like to use that to gift it too!
Just USA for now!
No, sadly not. Each envelope is sent with real stamp in the regular post office with a lot of love…
While this means no tracking information, it helps me keep the memberships affordable and accessible! (Aka, it IS possible for things to get lost in the mail!) Please allow 5-10 business days for mail to reach you, after being sent out on the 15th of the month. If you think your mail is lost, reach out to thecatholicbibleclasswithmon@gmail.com, and I will see what I can do to remedy the situation! There are no guarantees that I can re-send mail if it is lost, but I will do my best to honor you!
Mail is sent out on the 15th of every month from January-August 2027. (Unless the post office is closed on a 15th, in which case it’ll be sent the next open business day.)
This is one important note! If your mail is returned to me because the address you provided is incorrect, I will charge a $3 fee for that piece of mail to be re-sent, to cover the cost of the stamp, envelope, and convenience. Be very careful in writing out your mailing information! Mail is returned often for even the wrong zip code! Details matter:)
