In episode 4 of this miniseries on Jane de Chantal, we approach the topic of perfectionism & what Saint Francis de Sales says about it! I read from Introduction to the Devout Life (Part 1 Ch 5, Part 3, Ch 8-9). I recommend the Catholic Classics podcast which reads the whole of ITDL in one of their seasons – go check them out! I also recommend the Matt Frad Pints with Aquinas episode (187) called “How to be gentle with yourself”. So good!
